all employees that are required to lift, move
or carry objects as part of their role.
Who should attend?
- Any employee who falls into the categories
described above. It is advisable that employers
conduct this training as part of an employee’s
induction

the risks of moving and lifting are reduced

law relating to Manual Handling
- Spinal anatomy ~ structure and function
- Causes of back pain and other handling
related injuries
- Risk assessment
- Safer lifting techniques and team handling

- Continuous assessment by trainer
Certification
- A certificate of attendance will be issued
on completion of the course
